Before Your Treatment

To prepare for your facial rejuvenation with Sculptra, we recommend that you avoid blood-thinning medications such as aspirin or ibuprofen for a few days before your appointment unless otherwise directed by your doctor. Make sure to take off any makeup or products before arriving to allow your provider to work with a fresh, clean surface.  Staying hydrated in the days leading up to your session is also beneficial.

After Your Treatment

After your Sculptra treatment, you can expect gradual results as the body’s collagen production is stimulated. Applying a cold compress can help reduce swelling in the treated areas during the first 24 hours. You will be instructed to massage the treated area for five minutes, five times per day, for five days after your treatment to help distribute the product evenly.
